Daesung Machinery and Powall sign Memorandum of Understanding

The agreement paves the way for commercialisation of advanced dry-phase powder coating technology in Korea.

Daesung Machinery and Powall, a Netherlands-based advanced materials coating technology company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Daesung’s headquarters in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, Korea marking the formal start of collaborative technology development and commercialization.

Through this MoU, Powall will develop optimized dry-phase ultra-thin coating processes for cathode and anode materials used in batteries, based on its proprietary technology. Daesung Machinery will lead the design and manufacturing of industrial-scale equipment that can implement these processes for the Korean market and beyond.
